Experienced Bookkeeper Job In Ilminster, Somerset

We are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper/Bookkeepers for our ever-growing, well established and highly regarded accountancy practice. If you have the relevant skills, or know someone who does, please get in touch using the details below.

About The Role

We are looking for an Experienced Bookkeeper for our Ilminster and Taunton offices. It is a Full/Part Time position with salary being negotiable and dependant on experience.

Primary Skills Required Are:

  • Producing spreadsheets.
  • Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
  • Posting daily bank transactions.
  • VAT returns.
  • Posting and reconciling petty cash.
  • Addressing internal and external finance queries.
  • Preparing monthly Trial balance.
  • Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet.
  • Experience in Sage and other bookkeeping/accounting packages would be an advantage, as would experience of working within an accountancy practice.
